Long Island daycare is a different market — campuses, long halls, waiting lists. My Piccolo Mondo is a licensed group family day care in Country Club, Bronx: five to sixteen children, Lucia answering the phone, English and Italian at breakfast.

This only works for Long Island families if the Throgs Neck Bridge is already on the way to work, or grandparents in the East Bronx are part of the week. Great Neck, Little Neck, and western Nassau are the honest radius. Hicksville, the South Shore, and Suffolk are too far for a 6:00 PM pickup.

Ages six weeks to five years. Meals included. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

This is licensed group family day care — infants, toddlers, and preschool — bilingual English and Italian. It is not a second classroom in Long Island. The children are at 1466 Ohm Ave, Bronx, NY 10465.

No. The only licensed address is 1466 Ohm Ave, Bronx NY 10465. North Shore Nassau families enroll when the bridge commute is realistic.
Which Long Island towns can make this work?
Great Neck, Little Neck, western Manhasset, and nearby North Shore spots. If you are much farther east or on the South Shore, choose care closer to home.

We are a licensed group family day care at 1466 Ohm Ave, Bronx, NY 10465, in the Country Club / Spencer Estates section of the East Bronx. Families also come from Pelham Bay, Throggs Neck, Schuylerville, City Island, Co-op City, Queens (Whitestone, Bayside), New Rochelle, Pelham, Long Island’s North Shore, and southern Connecticut when the weekday drive fits.

Call or text (914) 755-2107. That is the fastest path. After you speak with Lucia, come for a tour, then review the parent handbook and complete enrollment forms before the start date.
