Preschool preparation

Ready for school, without the rush

Letters, numbers, art, and the daily habits that make kindergarten easier — practiced through play, not worksheets stacked to the ceiling.

Older children here help set the table, clean up before rest, and stick with a project. That independence matters as much as knowing the alphabet when they walk into a Bronx kindergarten classroom.

Creative work is daily — watercolor, collage, outdoor sand and water when the weather allows. We keep a quiet rest period for children under five, then return to group play.

  • Letters, numbers, and early literacy
  • Creative projects and painting
  • Routine, manners, and independence
  • Outdoor play in every season we can
