Daycare in Country Club, the Bronx
Country Club is a residential corner of the East Bronx in zip 10465 — brick houses, side streets, Pelham Bay Park a short ride away. Families searching “daycare near me” here are usually looking for a licensed home, not a corridor of classrooms.
Ohm Avenue runs through Country Club. Two New York State–licensed group family day cares sit on that street: 1466 Ohm Ave (My Piccolo Mondo Child Care, facility 236999, licensed since 2006) and 1601 Ohm Ave (Maria’s Piccolo Mondo Child Care, facility 821324, licensed 2018). Both are GFDCs with a listed capacity of sixteen children and weekday hours of 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.
A Country Club search should still start with OCFS, not with a Facebook thread. Type the facility number. Read the last inspection. Then walk the block at the hour you would actually drop off. Street parking and a 7 a.m. stroller in February tell you more than a brochure.
Nearby names you will see on the same map: Pelham Bay, Throggs Neck, Spencer Estates, Schuylerville. The license is tied to the house address, not to your zip. Families also drive in from Queens, New Rochelle, Long Island, and southern Connecticut when the 7-to-6 day fits.
