Italian and English child care in the Bronx
Some Bronx families want Italian in the room — not a Saturday class, the day itself. That is a question for the provider, not a marketing word on a homepage.
Ask, specifically: who speaks Italian with the children, at what hours, and whether English is the fallback. A bilingual GFDC is still a New York license. The language is a practice, not a separate permit.
My Piccolo Mondo Child Care at 1466 Ohm Ave, Country Club, describes itself as Italian and English every day. It is a licensed GFDC (facility 236999), 7:00 AM–6:00 PM weekdays. Confirm on a tour that the language you heard on the phone is the language in the room at 9 a.m.
If Italian is a must, stay for a morning. Songs on a website are not immersion. If it is a nice-to-have, say so, and judge the rest of the house on license, group size, and the person at the door.
